There is an apparent bug where the candies are mislabeled and provide different buffs than those listed.

Description

In Rune Midgard cities, 20 special Drops NPCs are distributing candies ( 1 Halloween Candy Box). You can collect candies on multiple characters and freely share or trade them. Each candy provides buffs lasting 30 minutes, and they can stack except for identical types:

Bonus: +4 Critical for 30 minutes Type: Confectionery Weight: 1 Note about +4 Critical by Chao: It definitely does not add +4 crit in the window. My best guess is that it adds +4% relative to your base critical without gears, i.e. Crit from LUK. My Hunter with about 25 crit from LUK only gets +1 crit in the window. While wearing another +40 in crit gear and using one, I still only get +1 crit in the stat window. This makes perfect sense, just want to warn people with low LUK, who might be expecting +4 raw crit increase.

There's a Drops NPC in Payon center to track how many of the twenty NPCs you've found. Keep in mind, if you die, the buffs vanish.

• This like all the Halloween quests can be completed across multiple characters on the same account.
• There does not appear to be an additional prize for finding all 20 Drops NPC's.

Halloween Exchanger (Pumpkin Spirits)

Description

Hartmann, the Halloween Vendor can be found in Geffen (86,73) north-west, close to the spawn point.

All the items in the shop cost Pumpkin's Spirit. They are unfortunately non-tradeable, but the items you get from the vendor are tradeable.

Description

The Deathly Goods NPC can be found in Niflheim, Realm of the Dead (138, 152) just across the bridge towards the middle of town from the portal.

All the items in the shop cost Essence of Death. They are tradeable, and the items you get from the vendor are tradeable.

Directions

1. Talk to Linus outside of Payon Dungeon (54, 145) and he will give you the Halloween Evils quest.
   

   The Halloween Evils Quest NPC, Linus, outside of Payon Dungeon in Archer Village.
2. Kill 30 Skeleton and 20 Soldier Skeleton.
   • Skeleton can be found in the nearby Payon Dungeon Level 1.
   • Soldier Skeleton can be found in the nearby Payon Dungeon Level 2.
   • It is recommended to kill Pumpkin Ghost found on Payon Dungeon Level 2 as they drop the quest item Pumpkin's Spirit among other goodies.
3. Head back to Linus and he will award you 75 Pumpkin's Spirit and some Base and Job experience to finish the quest line.

Costume Ghostly Tophat

This is not a quest per say, but players are definitely interested in how to find this unique costume! It can now be found from multiple monsters!

Directions

1. Head to Rachel (98, 72) in Geffen to get the Threat to Geffen quest.
   

   The Threat to Geffen Quest NPC, Rachel, the first step to getting the Costume Tattered Scarf.
2. Kill 25 Ghoul and 20 Skeleton Prisoner.
   • Ghoul can be found in nearby Geffen Dungeon Level 2 or in Glast Heim St. Abbey and Churchyard (if you want to grab both monsters in Glast Heim).
   • Skeleton Prisoner can be found in Glast Heim Prison Level 1.
   • It is recommended to kill Pumpkin Ghost found on Geffen Dungeon Level 1 and in Glast Heim and Eviling found on Geffen Dungeon Level 2 and in Glast Heim as they drop the quest item Pumpkin's Spirit among other goodies.
3. Head back to Rachel and she will award you 75 Pumpkin's Spirit and some Base and Job experience.
4. Head to Steward Hamilton (129, 115) in Geffen to get The Headless Horse quest.
   

   The Headless Horse quest NPC, Steward Hamilton, who awards the Costume Tattered Scarf if you complete his task.
5. Kill (or tap a killed) 1 The Headless Horse.
   • The Headless Horse can be found in either Glast Heim (main map) or Geffen Dungeon Level 2. This is an event MVP that spawns at server time (@time) at 3, 6, 9, 12...etc every 3 hours and does NOT have a tomb. There will be a sever-wide announcement when the MVP spawns. It RANDOMLY spawns on Glast Heim (main map) OR Geffen Dungeon Level 2.
   • You do NOT need to kill The Headless Horse yourself, nor be in the party of the MVPer. You only need to TAP The Headless Horse either by hitting it with an attack or skill or by taking non-skill damage from it.
     • YOU MUST BE ALIVE when The Headless Horse dies (sorry Guams :P),
     • IT MUST BE ON YOUR SCREEN when it dies. NOTE, often with this kind of tap you have to be within their line of sight, which is NOT at the very edge where you can see the MVP.
     • You MUST HAVE GOTTEN THE QUEST from Steward Hamilton beforehand (unlike stupid me who forgot in a rush XD).
6. Head back to Steward Hamilton and he will award you 1 Costume Tattered Scarf and 1 Old Blue Box and some Base and Job experience to finish the quest line.

Directions

1. Head to Geffen Tavern at the top right of Geffen (169, 171).
   

   The Geffen Tavern (169,171) in northeast Geffen.
2. Once inside, head to the leftmost portal and head upstairs in that room.
3. Talk to Holly who will give you the Big Feet quest to collect 10 Bear's Footskin.
   

   The Whisper Mask quest NPC's, Nathan and Holly.
4. After you turn in to Holly, she will award you 25 Pumpkin's Spirit and some Base and Job experience. She will give you the A Tall Tale quest.
5. Talk to Nathan and tell him a story. NOTE: I'm not sure if what you choose matters here. Here's what I chose in case it matters:
   • "It all started when.."
   • "I ran to her aid."
6. Nathan will award you 10 Pumpkin's Spirit and some Base and Job experience.
7. Talk to Holly and she will give you the A Special Costume quest to collect 50 Fabric and 20 Yellow Herb.
9. Once you turn in to Holly, she'll award you with 50 Pumpkin's Spirit and 1 Whisper Mask and some Base and Job experience to finish the quest line.
