Freebreeze Island
Dungeon
Freezebreeze Island is a custom dungeon designed exclusively for Payon Stories Summer Event. It’s a big sunny island where you can encounter eight new custom enemies, get special summer quests and make the new summer costumes or gears.
Freebreeze Island is open and accessible from Payon's docks for the low price of 150z.
You can enter Freebreeze Volcano by talking to Spelunker Maybell near the center of the island.

Server-wide Quests
Collecting Rainbow Coral
Work together as a server to collect Rainbow Coral (misc item) dropped by monsters in Frostfire Volcano, give them to Professor Raleigh NPC (summer 160,158) to earn server-wide loot.
Rainbow Corals can be obtained by killing following monsters:
- Abzu (35%)
- Naiad (1%)
- Bombo (0.8%)
- Needlefish (0.75%)
- Selkie (0.75%)

Collecting Frostfire Ash (quest completed)
Fill the torch inside Freebreeze Volcano by killing the mysterious Abzu monsters and collecting Frostfire Ash.
For the first time, the Guardians can be awakened from their slumber! Once enough Frostfire Ash has been collected and deposited by the players (collectively) in the torch located in northern part of Freebreeze Volcano map, the Guardians will begin to spawn for the duration of the event period. A server-wide announcement will make it clear that the two Minibosses - Guardians (similar difficulty to Abzu) and MVP (much harder) have appeared, and killing them will yield exclusive Costume Headgears and other goodies!
Note: Please note that the Event Minibosses are FREE FOR ALL.

Custom Gear Quests
Custom Frostfire Weapon
Collect Frostfire Shards dropped by monsters in Frostfire Volcano and use them as event currency to buy seasonal weapons and weapon boxes. To trade your Frostfire Shards to weapon or boxes, speak to Frostfire Weapons NPC (summer 132, 196).
Frostfire Weapons provide additional bonuses to its wielders, i.e.: +25% psychical damage against Fire and Water property enemies, ability to cast additional skills and STAT bonuses.

Note: seasonal weapons will expire and will become junk items you can vend.
Custom Healing Items
Frostfire Shards can be exchanged for special Summer Spritzers that help recover your HP and SP faster.
You can exchange 15x Frostfire Shards into this healing items by speaking to Wanda NPC (summer 205,160).

Custume Headgears
Collecting Frostfire Shards and exchanging them by talking to NPCs located on the Freebreeze Island, participating in server-wide quests, as well as killing special Mini Bosses and MVP - all these activities gives you a chance to gain special Summer Event Costumes!
Treasure Hunting Shovels
Use Treasure Hunting Shovels to dig up buried treasures among the island. Talk to an NPC Treasure Hunter Thomas (summer 59,220) on the west side of the island to get started and get 1 free shovel. Note: You can only get 1 free shovel per account by speaking to NPC Treasure Hunter Thomas.
Obtaining Treasure Hunting Shovels
There are two ways to obtain Treasure Hunting Shovels:
- Speak to Treasure Hunter Thomas and exchange 50 Frostfire Shards for 1 Shovel.
- Obtain the Treasure Hunting Shovels by killing monsters:
Treasure digging
To collect treasures, find Mound of Sand located all over Island and take part of mini-game of digging!
Rules of the mini-game:
- Find a place to dig (Mound of Sand)
- Once selected a spot, shovel will light up with specific light:
- YELLOW (that means the treasure is buried no deeper than 50 cm from the surface),
- ORANGE (that means the treasure is buried between 50 - 75 cm from the surface),
- RED (that means the treasure is buried between 75 - 100 cm from the surface)
- You can dig the treasure by using different strategies:
- With all your might (results in digging between 15 - 25 cm)
- Digging normally (results in digging between 10 - 18 cm)
- Stepping on the shovel softly (results in digging between 5 - 12 cm)
- Use the shovel like a trowel (results in digging between 3 - 6 cm)
- Scrape the earth (results in digging between 1 - 3 cm)
- You can only use the shovel ten times before it breaks, there is also a chance to destroy the treasure, so it is advice to choose the digging strategy wisely.
Treasure Rewards
After successfully digging a treasure, you'll receive Treasure Box containing random rewards:
- Old Wooden Box (Jewels, Diamonds, Carats, Rubys, etc.)
- Heavy Treasure Box (Taming items, Old Blue Box, Elunium, Oridecon, Rare Crafting Stones/Mats for Weapon Quests)
- Ornate Treasure Box (Old Blue Box, Costumes, Headgears)
